Our Commitment to Safety
We are dedicated to ensuring you have access to the latest information and guidance to help you stay healthy. You have always known Dr. Freemont and the team at Freemont Dental to deliver high-quality care and patient safety. And, in response to COVID-19, we are taking extraordinary steps to maintain these standards.
We have the staff and supplies to allow for procedures and office visits to be performed as needed. If we have advised you to go ahead with care, please know that we are able to deliver that care with extensive safety measures in place. We care about your safety and your health. Choosing to forgo recommended care can increase your risk of long-term worsened health outcomes.
Our office follows infection control recommendations set forth by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
Patient Safety
To support the safety of our patients, staff and community, we are:
Screening: Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office. All patients are screened for symptoms, including a temperature check, each time they enter our office. Dr. Freemont and her staff also undergo regular temperature checks and symptom screenings.
Safety: Only patients with appointments will be permitted. If you a guardian, you may come in to check the patient in. We will ask you to wash your hands when you enter the office. You will also find hand sanitizer throughout the office for you to use as needed. We also are taking extra other measures during your visit to our office, such as taking your temperature, having you gargle with a hydrogen peroxide antimicrobial rinse before you are treated, and having medical-grade H13 air purifiers throughout the office.
Distancing: We are spacing out appointments and have organized our reception room to keep patients at a safe distance. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
Disinfecting: We have always thoroughly cleaned our equipment and treatment rooms between each patient and will continue to do so. We also clean common areas like waiting areas, restrooms and administrative areas frequently, all using products that are known to kill the virus that causes COVID-19.
Masking: Our staff and patients wear masks to enhance safety. Please put on a face mask or face covering before entering the building.
Please reschedule if anyone in your home has been sick within the last 14 days.
If you have concerns about treatment, need to schedule or reschedule, please call us at 404-761-1659 or send us an email.
